VoltMaris is a family of subsea DC-AC inverters that turn DC battery power into clean, utility-grade AC for subsea, marine, offshore, and industrial systems. Available in single-phase and three-phase configurations, each subsea inverter delivers low-distortion pure sine wave output at 115 or 230 VAC and 50 or 60 Hz — powering pumps, instrumentation, lighting, control systems, computers, and communication equipment. High-efficiency conversion, comprehensive protection, and intelligent monitoring are integrated into a rugged, pressure-rated Aluminium or Titanium enclosure, depth-rated to 2000 m and suitable for both underwater and topside installations.
- High-efficiency conversionHigh-efficiency DC-to-AC conversion minimises losses, extending battery runtime and reducing heat in sealed subsea installations.
- Configurable AC output115 VAC and 230 VAC, single-phase or three-phase, with selectable 50 Hz or 60 Hz output.
- Pure sine wave outputLow-distortion pure sine output (THD < 5% typical) for sensitive electronics, instrumentation, motors, and pumps.
- Wide DC input rangeRuns from a broad range of DC battery systems (typically 24–400 VDC) for AUVs, offshore platforms, and remote energy systems.
- Comprehensive protectionOver-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit, overload, and over-temperature protection.
- Intelligent monitoringContinuously monitors input and output voltage, current, power, temperature, and fault conditions.
- Remote configuration & diagnosticsOptional Ethernet, CAN bus, and RS-485 (Modbus RTU) for remote configuration, firmware updates, and fault reporting.
- Rugged deep-sea enclosureAluminium or Titanium housings depth-rated to 2000 m (other depths available).

FAQ
Subsea inverter FAQs
What is a subsea inverter?
A subsea inverter is a sealed, pressure-rated DC-AC inverter that converts DC battery power into clean AC power underwater. VoltMaris delivers low-distortion pure sine output for subsea, offshore, and marine systems.
Does VoltMaris offer a three-phase subsea inverter?
Yes. VoltMaris is available in both single-phase and three-phase configurations, at 115 or 230 VAC and 50 or 60 Hz.
What is a subsea DC to AC inverter used for?
It powers AC equipment from DC battery packs underwater or topside — pumps, instrumentation, lighting, control systems, computers, and communication gear on AUVs, offshore platforms, and remote energy installations.
How deep can VoltMaris operate?
Standard depth ratings are 300 m, 1000 m, and 2000 m in Aluminium or Titanium housings; other depths are available on request.
What DC input and AC output does it support?
Typical DC input is 24–400 VDC; AC output is configurable at 115 or 230 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, with pure sine output (THD < 5% typical).
